RRPSS Community Peace Officers (CPO) investigate and resolve complaints regarding Municipal and County Bylaw matters, Animal control and provide municipal/county traffic enforcement coverage while ensuring public education, awareness and safety.

Governance
The RRPSS is governed by the Ridge Regional Public Safety Services Commission (RRPSSC) that sets the direction and priorities for the Community Peace Officers and ensures proper oversight and accountability for all member municipalities it serves. The RRPSSC consists of elected officials from the participating member municipalities.
